Hard to say, Jun was a complete disappointing disgrace; he was the type that never sees how Katsuko suffered because of his incompetence, and likely refuses to acknowledge that it was his fault from the start, and it took him a long while to realize it really was his fault that Katsuko suffered.

Ai's boyfriend was a different story as he was aware it was his fault that Ai suffered so much and he has to do whatever he can to fix the damage done to Ai. If anything, it should end like [Nagare Ippon] Gibo.
