@Puriap10, as her tongue roughly the size of earth, and given the facts that it is by 80% from water and mantle temp is greater than 2500K, i think 1000K-1500K degree burn is rather serious matter.

@jonhddd, if i remember correctly, signal is spreading through neural fibers with much-much lower speed. Even if we talk about speed of light it probably take around 4 seconds at least. And, of course, just imaging how her brain will cope with signal latency in hundreds of milliseconds during propagation through neural network. I'd say that she will see rocket flying towards her only when it already reaches her.
