nir645: In his older works Kura-Oh used anonymous male characters (pseudo-Shinji for Rei, pseudo-Kaji for Asuka) and his doujins were mostly storyless. But since his "Gohoushi Ayanami-san" he started using directly Shinji, and tried for some simple plot. And with "Boku wa, Rei to Asuka Futari to Tsukiau Kotoni Shita" started bigger harem themed storyline. Which sometimes interleaves with themed special.

Napul: That's good news, I hate it when OC replaces the MC in doujins, I can't get attach to them because they're so mindless and lacking personality and history, it makes the story not worth reading, I skipped all his work that involved those pseudo-Shinji.
