It's normal, after all, these are characters you already know from the show where they would never put a face like that, thus the non-ahegao ones do not only feel more accurate but also more familiar to you.
Take Hifumi for example, I could envision her with a (page: 26-28, 32,33-36 & 39) face, but those tongue out and eyes rolled up for a quite shy and meek girl like her? Can still be (and is) arousing to me, but, I get what you mean.
